Middle Child Marketing (MCM)

Canadian Public Relations Society Member Sandra Garcia is the owner of Middle Child Marketing (MCM), dedicated to servicing events, individuals and small businesses in the entertainment, retail and non-profit industries in the Lower Mainland.

Garcia has executed public relations and marketing campaigns for clients including Vie Maternity, Latidos Productions, and Women In Film & Television (WIFTV), with a strong focus on publicity. A poet and writer, Garcia graduated from the University of British Columbia (UBC) in English Literature and Film Studies, where she discovered a passion for film and helped to create the first Vancouver Student Film Festival in 2005.

Garcia’s ability to absorb knowledge of her clients allows her to be a versatile asset to many companies. Her writing extends to blogs, film reviews, and non-fiction. Honing her Marketing Communications expertise through Professional Development courses at the BC Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the Successful Consulting and Contracting Program, Sandra aspires to become one of the city’s most prominent publicists specializing in events, entertainment, feature film productions, and fashion.

Garcia is also a member of WIFTV and the Young Women in Business Network. She is the current Festival Director for the Vancouver Short Film Festival.
